Time For Better Form Says Colin Montgomerie
You might be thinking why on earth does Monty need to be looking to be gaining is ranks up again, he just successfully captained Europe to the Ryder Cup right? He really does have his reasons when it comes to this and they are good ones. Look into this in a lot more detail.
Being A Captain Does Not Help
Of course being captain of the European team will earn your respect and even more so if the team goes on and wins it like it happened but the problem is it does not help bring the rank up. It all sounds a bit silly, why would someone actually want to be captain if they are not going to get anywhere with it all, rather strange?
being offered something like this is very good and is an honour to have been offered the opportunity, you will find that there are not many golfers out there that would say no to this. Of course going on to win it meant he has even more respect than he did when he entered as captain.
Whilst he was captain there were problems with his ranking as he didn’t get anywhere, in fact he fell from 135th to 425th which of course is not the right direction a professional golfer wants to head in. He has actually been asked to captain again in two years time but has refused as he wants to get his ranking back. Although it sounds like a unrealistic goal I reckon he can do it!!
All he really has to do is pick up his golf batteries as well as electric golf trolley batteries and lithium golf batteries and get playing again!
Of course if you fancy playing a golf (a lot of people do after watching the Ryder cup) then why not get out there and have a game, it is a relaxing sport if you are not hacking away at the ball and is great to play with mates!
