The Sun Mountain Speed Cart V2 – 3 Wheeler Magic
In 1999 when Sun Mountain released their original speed cart, they did not realise that this would change the world of push carts forever. With the upgraded version now on the market, the Sun Mountain Speed Cart V2, the bar has been raised once more.
As with many sports, the world of golf contains the purists on one side and on the other, those that embrace change and technology. For the purists, the sport of golf involves walking and according to them, walking is an integral part of the sport. With the amount of speed carts being rolled out of golf shops around the world, Sun Mountain knew that they were on a winner and have since upgraded the earlier model to the new and improved Sun Mountain Speed Cart V2 that you see today.
So what makes this golf cart one of the best push carts around?

- Wider frame to allow the bag to sit lower hence further reducing the risk of having the cart topple over due to the centre of gravity being lower.
- A mesh basket perfect when the weather is forever changing. Just store your wind jacket or sweater there for easy access if the need arises.
- A cable operated hand break for parking on steep slopes. I nearly lost my whole bag into a lake once so that is really important to me.
- The handle is fully adjustable and ergonomic which allows you to find your perfect arm and shoulders position giving you total comfort.

- No more worrying about having to pump tyres up as these are foam fill and apart from regular cleaning do not need any other sort of maintenance.

- As you would expect, the cart also comes with a dink holder, pencil, tees, score card and ball holders.
- There is a special holder for your umbrella that can be mounted onto to the handle for protection from the elements for both your clubs and yourself.
- Smart brackets that are fully adjustable to “lock” your bag in place and to cater for almost any bag size or shape. No more straps to deal with although this was quite popular with golfers in the previous model.
- The whole cart will fold up in seconds and will fit in any normal size car boot.
The Sun Mountain Speed Cart V2 is excellent for walking around the golf course and you will not feel spent after 18 holes or 36 for that matter. All the little modifications and upgrades have done a great job in making an already brilliant golf cart even better. The price is a little hefty but then again, if you want quality then expect to pay a little more for it and frankly should not really matter for the amount and quality of golf cart that you are getting.
Golf is hard enough so why not make it a little easier and more enjoyable.
